About the Event
In 2026, the Százhalombatta Regional Organization of the GTE, together with the Hungarian Welding Association as co-organizer, will once again hold its traditional Autumn Balaton (formerly known as Csopak) Seminar.
For the ninth time, the “Pressure Equipment Safety Award” will be presented at the seminar. The award was established in 2016 by the Association of Mechanical Engineers and the Hungarian Oil and Gas Museum, following suggestions from regular participants of the seminar.

The participation fee includes attendance at the presentations, electronic copies of the seminar materials (on a USB drive), access to the exhibition, 2 nights’ accommodation, 3 working lunches, 2 dinners, refreshments during the breaks, and organizational costs. The accommodation cost includes breakfast and access to certain wellness facilities.

Discounts:
- For more than 3 participants from the same company, the 3-4-5 person receive a 15% discount, and any additional participants beyond the 5 receive a 25% discount.
- Loyalty Discount:
- Per company: registration for 3 out of the last 5 Seminars 5%
- Per company: registration for 4 out of the last 5 Seminars 10%
- Per company: registration for 5 out of the last 5 Seminars 15%
- Members of GTE and MAHEG with individual membership receive a HUF 5,000 + VAT discount on the participation fee. The discount can only be applied to one membership.
- Participants attending the conference solely to give a presentation may attend the event free of charge on the day of their presentation.
- Univercity students: HUF 5,000 + VAT discount on the participation fee.
- VIP-Organizing Committee: free of charge
- Discounts cannot be combined; only the higher discount applies. Eligibility for the loyalty discount can be viewed on the GTE website.
The participation fee can be paid either by bank transfer based on a proforma invoice issued by the GTE headquarters or in cash at the time of registration.
